Shop the highest quality Stowell's Evergreen Corn seeds for a premium garden experience. First developed by Nathan Stowell in 1848, this variety earned the name "Evergreen" because it remains in the fresh "milk stage" longer than almost any other sweet corn in existence. While other corns quickly become starchy and tough if not picked immediately, our premium corn seeds stowells stock keeps its incredible sweetness and tender texture on the stalk for days. At The Seed Guy®, we recommend planting these open-pollinated corn seeds stowells options for the home gardener who wants a long, leisurely harvest season without the pressure of picking everything all at once.
In the garden, choosing our quality corn seeds stowells packets delivers a robust and stately plant, with stalks reaching 8 to 10 feet in height. It produces large, 8-to-9-inch ears filled with 12 to 16 rows of deep, pearly-white kernels. This variety is the "Big Kahuna" for canning and freezing because purchasing these corn seeds stowells stocks yields a high sugar content which holds up beautifully during preservation. This traditional white sweet corn is a late-season variety that pairs perfectly with early-maturing corns to keep fresh ears on your table all summer long. At The Seed Guy®, our white sweet corn seeds are tested for elite germination and heavy-duty vigor, ensuring you can grow the white sweet corn that has been the gold standard for quality for over 175 years.
Our premium selection makes it easy to find high-yielding white sweet corn online. These heirloom sweet corn seeds produce white field corn with succulent roasting ears. If you are looking for dependable homestead sweet corn, our inventory holds the finest non-gmo heirloom choices for your home setup. Brought to you by The Seed Guy ®.

Spacemaster 80 Cucumber Planting Instructions:
1. When to Plant: Cucumbers love the heat. Sow seeds directly into the garden or large containers once the soil temperature has reached at least 70°F and all danger of frost has passed.
2. Preparation: Because Spacemaster 80 is often grown in containers, use a high-quality organic potting soil mixed with compost. If planting in the ground, ensure the site receives full sun and has excellent drainage.
3. Sowing: Sow 2-3 seeds per pot or per space, about 1/2 inch deep. If planting in a row, space the plants about 12 inches apart. Spacemaster does not require a trellis, but a small cage can help keep the fruit off the soil in very tight spaces.
4. Watering and Care: Cucumbers are mostly water, so consistent moisture is the key to preventing bitterness. Water deeply at the base of the plant to keep the leaves dry, which helps prevent powdery mildew. Mulching helps retain moisture in the soil.
5. Harvesting: For the best flavor and texture, harvest Spacemaster 80 cucumbers when they reach 6 to 8 inches in length. Pick them frequently to encourage the plant to keep producing new flowers and fruit throughout the season.
