Coriander (Cilantro) Planting Instructions:
1. When to Plant: Loves the cool weather! Sow in early spring or late summer. It will "bolt" (go to seed) quickly in the mid-summer heat.
2. Preparation: Prefers full sun to partial shade and light, well-drained soil.
3. Sowing: Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep. To have a continuous supply of leaves, sow a new batch every 2-3 weeks.
4. Care: Keep the soil moist. If the plant starts to flower, let it! Those flowers provide nectar for beneficial insects and will eventually turn into your "Coriander" seeds.
5. Pests and Diseases: Generally very easy to grow. Harvest the leaves once the plant is 6 inches tall, or wait for the seeds to turn brown on the stalk to harvest the spice.
